Frequently Asked Questions

The Enchanted Tooth Box® is a mechanical keepsake box that exchanges The Tooth Fairy's money, a.k.a the parent's money, with a child's tooth while everyone in the household sleeps.
All it takes to use the Enchanted Tooth Box is the 3-Step 'Power, Preload, and Press' Method which can be found in a 30 second demonstration video on the 'how to use' page under the FAQ dropdown menu. The Enchanted Tooth Box® is considered preloaded when a single bill is placed inside it, in the concealed position, well before your child loses their tooth.
You can use one Box for all of your children, or they can each have their own. If your kids are anything like the author's children, they will want their own. It is highly unlikely that your children will lose teeth on the same night, but anything is possible. If your children are all in the tooth-losing phase, which is 5-10 years of age, it could indeed happen. The decision on how many to purchase is solely up to you.
Our products are for children ages 4-9 years of age.
The Enchanted Tooth Box® can be purchased with an accompanying storybook to help explain its purpose in a fun and exciting way. The storybook follows a little girl excited about losing her first baby tooth. However, when she wakes up moneyless, she's left disappointed despite placing her tooth underneath her pillow. What she ends up discovering is a mysterious enchanted box with a note attached. Could these be clues to what really happened to The Tooth Fairy? And will she ever get her celebratory prize? You and your child have to read to find out.
The storybook is great for children ages 4-9 and uses rhyming to help parents introduce their kids to The Tooth Fairy.
It's best to buy this product when your child turns 5 years old or the first sign of a loose tooth. Some children lose their first tooth between the ages of 4 and 7. Your child or their dentist will let you know when they have a wiggly tooth. Read them the book the night of The Tooth Fairy's visit or at the sign of their first loose tooth. That part is up to you!
It is recommended to preload the Box when you first receive it. This way, the Box is ready to go at the unexpected time of a lost tooth. For instructions on how to preload, please visit our "how to use" page.
You will know if it is not working if the LED does not come on when you open the lid. The Box is not meant to stay plugged while in use; however, it is okay to do so at night if your battery is not charged and ready for use. Enjoy effortless charging with the included USB-C cable, providing power for up to 4 Tooth Fairy visits on a single charge. The built-in, non-removable lithium-ion batteries ensure consistent performance and seamless recharging, much like your smartphone. Simply plug the USB-C cable into any standard USB port and let it charge, knowing that your device will be ready for the next magical moment.
It is best to be placed on a flat surface, preferably on a nightstand. Do not place this Box underneath your child's pillow for safety reasons.
The best place to keep the Box when it is not in use is on a flat surface out of the reach of your curious children. After all, it's not a toy to play with. Place it high on a shelf near the book. You can tell your child that we must not play with it because we don't want the fairy dust to run out, and the fairy dust helps it glow at night.
It's best to purchase the storybook with the Box to make this tradition easy to explain to your child. The book explains it all. You can let your child know that this Box will help The Tooth Fairy finish her mission quickly because it will glow and lead her directly to your tooth. You could further explain that The Tooth Fairy will not struggle to find your tooth under your pillow this way. Something like that!
